Here at Happy Beard Schnauzers our focus is on raising happy, healthy miniature schnauzer puppies, as well as Giant Schnauzer Puppies. Parents are DNA tested through Embark. Embark tests for over 168 genetic defects. We also test for diseases that are recommended for the Miniature Schnauzer breed by the OFFA, Orthopedic Foundation For Animals. Back in my college days, I majored in Animal Science with a pre-vet option. During that time I began breeding Miniature Schnauzer puppies.
Schnauzers have been a part of my life for over 30 years. In 2015 I expanded my program and began breeding Giant Schnauzer puppies. Times have changed with the advancement of science. With DNA testing we are now able to better understand the dynamics of each parent and their genetic make up.

Health Tested, raised and loved as our own
Our miniature schnauzer puppies & Giant schnauzer Puppies are born and raised in our home. They're a part of our family! Our family raises them as our own until they find their forever. Our puppies receive daily interaction with both children and adults. We focus on early socialization which includes other pets. They play with our cats and other dogs, hear our guinea pigs "wheeking," and play with both adults and children. They're exposed to daily household noises like vacuums, washing machines, knocks on doors, etc
Because the first weeks are essential to development, we offer daily neurological stimulation. using games, and noises to help develop your pup.
